Medical Claim Care   Professional Physician Services

EHR Preparedness

Medical Claim Care offers a range of services for practices seeking to implement an EHR.    Prior to setting a project fee, a “Client Assessment”  (review of key practice traits – staff size, patient visit rate, computer literacy, technology setup, physical plant, installed software, etc.) is conducted at no charge to the client.   This assessment is used to help determine the type of consulting support required to complete the project.   In order to elect the project-based fee option the practice must agree in writing to specific staff time commitments and project milestones.  In addition, it must identify a specific person as the project manager.  The project manager should expect to spend at least 0.25 FTE/week on EHR-related work.

EHR Preparedness Process

If product selection is the goal, a six-step process is used to determine the best product for the practice.
